Scripted Events and Design provides creative event planning and design services in the Central Kentucky area.  Founded by owner, Laura Triplett, Scripted wants to tell your story… beautifully.  We believe telling your story is making each event unique to the people or organization it is about.  Each celebration is treated as a fresh experience.  For the Bride and Groom it could be about how they met or the things that make them, well, uniquely THEM!  For a social event or fundraiser it could be about relaying a message in a new and creative way that makes the audience take pause. The details of your journey drive us to tell your story beautifully.

Hi there!  OK, now we are acquainted.  I was born in a small town in Southern Illinois, and have lived in Lexington, Kentucky for many years, but my love is wherever my family and friends are.  I have an amazing husband, Brock, and 3 absolutely exceptional kids (if I do say so myself), Caroline, Scarlett, & Sloane.  I have worked in the hospitality industry since 2007 when I got my first job in the sales & catering office of a Downtown Lexington hotel.  I have always loved events, food, and all things pretty but it wasn’t until this moment that I had considered making it a career.  I had no idea what a brilliant education I would receive over the next 11 years working in catering and events.  I truly learned events “from the ground up”. These years of experience have made me a joyful & confident event professional.  You can trust me to be organized, creative, and reliable from the moment we meet.   I take pride in getting to know my clients and truly enjoy the process of putting each of their events together, step by step and vendor by vendor.  It would be a delight to be part of your wedding or celebration, so please give me a ring & let's get started!
